Prenatal Yoga

One hour Prenatal Yoga class. The exercises performed during the class are safe for all 3 trimesters of pregnancy, all fitness levels are encouraged and no previous yoga experience is required. The sessions consist of various breathing techniques, Kegel exercises to develop the pelvic floor muscles, stretching those parts of the body that are most often affected during pregnancy, with an emphasis on the neck, shoulders, back, hips, legs, calf muscles and feet.
Classes will also include yoga poses (asanas) for strengthening the whole body with an emphasis on the main muscles: the pelvic floor, thighs, legs and gluteus muscles. Classes will end with savasana, instructor-led meditation, special breathing, affirmations and mantras to create self-awareness and tranquility.

Mom and Baby Yoga/Pilates

This class is suitable from about six weeks after the childbirth (when you get cleared by the doctor to resume exercise) until the baby starts to crawl. All levels are welcome and no prior yoga experience is necessary. Mom and baby yoga classes provide an opportunity to regain strength and flexibility, to bond with your baby in an enjoyable activity and to make friends with other like-minded moms. This postnatal yoga/pilates class heals the body and mind, and helps to recover from pregnancy and birth. It is especially designed for mothers with their babies, so that little ones can also be incorporated into the practice. This class focuses on helping the body to come back into shape through movements that strengthen the lower back, abdomen, legs, glutes, arms and pelvis. In addition, this yoga practice will aid in reducing back pain, relieving tension, with the added benefit of helping manage fluctuating moods resulting from hormonal changes.

What you will need for this class:

  • yoga mat
  • blanket for your baby with their favorite toys
  • weights 
  • yoga block (if you do not have one, a thicker blanket or a towel folded up will work)

Meditation with osteopathic manipulations

Vadim Gorlik practices
exercises and psychological relaxation techniques in a group setting. It contributes to the comfort and emotional stability of a woman during pregnancy and in the postpartum period. Osteopathic manipulations are a bonus for each member of the group. Classes run in a room with rubber mats are completely safe for pregnant women and women who have just given birth.

Teaching course of early baby massage.

Benefits: you will learn how to do baby massage CORRECTLY! (with no harm) and how to massage your baby every day on your own (!). During the course you will receive answers to all your questions.

Results: the child is more calm, less fussy, feels his parents through touch. Massage will help to decrease hypo / hyper muscle tone (!) and eliminate neurological symptoms. It helps with such defects as: legs deformities (valgus / varus), clubfoot, torticollis, flat head. It also normalises sleep, and baby’s appetite. You will also learn how to deal with colics, constipation, and much more!

Inna Aslanyan, who teaches the course, is a licensed massage therapist for newborns and young children.
